Today we had a great ride! The weather was beautiful and both Lady and I felt very confident and ready to tackle the ride. We used draw-reins today for the second time, today went much better than the first time we worked in them (Albeit it was very windy that day).
Lady was a bit fussy in the begginning and whenever we went from a walk break back to work but I guess that is too be expected. We did a lot of serpintine and figure-8's asking her to bend and work off my leg. Since she was being good I let her have a long walk break where we worked on our leg yeild both into the fence and away from the fence. She is very good at the leg yeilds but not quiet as responsive to shoulder in's.
Canter was lovely to the left (her better side) and to the right was stiff and wanting to fall in, even though it wasn't the greatest I was happy because she was quiet and willing. She even ignored her pasture mate's, Roxy, calling for her.
Overall a very happy ride.
